Insight is helpful. Knowing how to apply it is better.

We’ll use evidence-based approaches, but the work is always individualized, collaborative, and grounded in what is actually useful to you.

Individual Psychotherapy

I’ve always been especially drawn to working with adolescents and young adults because this is such an important—and often wildly underestimated—stage of life. They’re figuring out who they are, what they believe, how they fit into relationships, and what to do with emotions that can feel enormous before they have the language or experience to fully understand them.

I also genuinely enjoy this age group. They are funny, complicated, insightful, occasionally exasperating, and far more capable than adults sometimes give them credit for. Helping young people develop a stronger understanding of themselves—and helping parents understand them a little better, too—is the part of this work I continue to find most meaningful.
